Does this sound like you?
You’re busy.
You don’t mean to be forgetful.
You have every intention of being organized.
Yet somehow, sending mail falls to the bottom of your to-do list.
Preparing a pile of mail is an undertaking. Maybe you need an accountability partner, ideally one who loves stationery.
I’ve had a life-long love affair with mail.
In elementary school, I asked for monogrammed envelope seals as a birthday present.
In college, I forced my roommates to print holiday photo cards at CVS to mail to our sorority sisters living just a few blocks away. Over a decade later, I’m still sending “galentines” each February to this distro list of 30 women.
“Merry and Married” read the holiday card when hubby and I wed in 2016. We still stay in touch with our guest list and beyond, sending hundreds of holiday cards each season.
And so my stationery habit persists. Along the way, I earned a Masters degree in Writing & Publishing from Emerson College and became a trained copyeditor. To me, it doesn’t matter whether it’s custom letterpress or mass-produced Hallmark—why? Because snail mail creates joy wherever it lands.

My favorite date night is going to the movies (with a purse full of snacks on snacks).

I love traveling, especially to little coastal towns.

On Mondays you can find me basking in the drama of ABC’s “The Bachelor” or “The Bachelorette.”

I try to read one novel a week. My favorite genre is regency romance.
